Edmunds API vs Kelley Blue Book for AI agents
Edmunds API is Edmunds' former open developer API; access is now limited to selected partners and to dealers through a dealership program. Kelley Blue Book is a licensed REST service for Kelley Blue Book vehicle values and VIN decoding; it does not list cars for sale.
The short answer
- Edmunds API: Not available to new developers; only existing Edmunds partners and dealers can use it.
- Kelley Blue Book: Businesses that need licensed Kelley Blue Book values inside their own systems, not listing search.
