Do work that matters. At AlertMedia, we help organizations protect their people, operations, and brand. Our modern Risk Intelligence and Response platform empowers teams to detect emerging threats, assess impact, and respond with confidence. We believe building resilience should be simpler—and it starts with bringing critical information and workflows together in one unified platform. Our core values drive us in our important mission of keeping people safe & informed: We’re humans not robots Customers always come first We work better together Simplicity is our strength Our reputation is priceless Hard work pays off As one of the fastest growing SaaS start-up companies in the nation, we’re focused on finding the best talent and building the best team to continue accelerating our rapid growth to keep up with our demand. AlertMedia is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of new AI capabilities that help organizations coordinate complex critical-event response workflows. This person will take the product from zero to one—turning customer needs into trusted automation and partnering with Engineering and Design to rapidly prototype, ship, and scale new solutions. Who you are: You have built products that turn scattered, manual work into something coordinated and dependable. You have watched capable people stitch together tools, tabs, and checklists by hand to get through a high-stakes process — and you have felt the pull to replace that friction with software that simply does the right next thing. You know the difference between automation that earns trust and automation that gets in the way. Now you want to do that at scale, for thousands of teams, on a product being built from the ground up. You are curious about how customers actually work rather than how they say they work, comfortable making decisions with imperfect data, and energized by taking a blank page and shipping something real. You are as interested in the operator’s daily reality as you are in the roadmap that serves it. When a critical event unfolds, the hard part is rarely knowing that something happened — it is coordinating the many steps, people, and systems that have to move in the right order, quickly, and often all at once. AlertMedia is transforming how organizations turn response into action, and you will own how we build it. What you get to do every day: Customer and Market Understanding Develop deep expertise in the personas we serve — security, safety, business continuity, IT, and operations leaders, and the responders who execute when something goes wrong — including how their work is structured, staffed, measured, and escalated. Interview customers and prospects continuously. Run discovery conversations, workflow walk-throughs, and feedback sessions that produce specific problem statements rather than feature requests. Maintain a clear, current view of the problems we solve well today, the opportunities to solve problems better, and the problems we should be solving 12 to 24 months from now. Track industry trends, the automation and AI landscape, platform and integration changes, and the competitive field, and translate them into implications for our roadmap. Strategy, Prioritization, and Roadmap Ownership Own the roadmap for new AI capabilities: decide what we build, what we defer, and what we decline, with reasoning that stands up to scrutiny. Shape the strategy and positioning for a product that is still being defined and build the case for where it should go next. Balance business objectives, customer needs, and industry trends when sequencing work, and make the tradeoffs explicit to stakeholders. Define the problem sets and jobs to be done that anchor each initiative, so the team understands the outcome before it debates the solution. …
