Lead Android application upgrades in support of new Toast Hardware and Android OS upgrades for our system apps, working closely with Hardware and Firmware partners. Raise the quality bar by expanding our end-to-end automated testing on real Toast hardware with Robot Framework, reducing manual regression testing. Lead the investigation of complex production issues across the fleet, and partner with Customer Care and pilot customers during device rollouts. Mentor engineers on the team through code review, design feedback, and pairing. Collaborate with Product Management, Hardware, QA, and other Software teams to build scalable systems, making solid technical decisions with quality, security, and maintainability in mind. Leverage cutting edge AI tools to enhance your development workflow, improve velocity, and help pioneer new approaches to building, contributing to a culture of innovation and productivity across the team.
