About the Team Cloud Onboarding Architects work alongside Customer Onboarding Managers, Technical Instructors, Resident Solutions Architects within Professional Services. This team ensures that every new managed enterprise customer has a fully configured dbt platform account and is confident using it. Guided Setup is often a customer’s first hands-on experience with dbt. The team sits at the intersection of technical implementation, customer experience, and product feedback; helping customers navigate the complexity of their data, identity, security, and development environments while ensuring they are set up for long-term success. About the Role The Cloud Onboarding Architect Lead is the technical leader for Guided Setup across our dbt enterprise customer base. You’ll own the most complex and highest-visibility setup engagements while also helping define how the entire team delivers setup at scale. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with technical leadership. You’ll be the person other Cloud Onboarding Architects turn to when a customer has an unusual architecture, an implementation has stalled, or the existing playbook doesn’t quite fit. You’ll also work across Professional Services, Engineering, Product, and Design to turn those individual challenges into better processes, documentation, and product experiences for everyone.
